Matco Tools, Inc. is a professional tools manufacturer for the automotive and other industries and is based in Stow, Ohio. The company was founded in 1946 and began selling direct to professional mechanics in 1979. This includes over 13,000 different tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, gauges, and specialty tools, as well as a line of high quality toolboxes. They also produce air tools, electric, and diagnostic tools, with quality considered on par with Mac Tools and Snap-On. They also carry a similar lifetime warranty on all hand tools.
As with Snap-On and Mac, they are not readily available to the public and go from shop to shop with a display truck. They are of good quality and look good as well. They are well built, come in a variety of configurations and are reasonably priced.
